In Citadels, players compete for the right to be named master builder of a kingdom․
To do this, you must impress the monarch with your outstanding skills.
Each round, each player chooses one character that gives them a special ability.
Players build their cities by playing territory cards from their hand. At the end of the game,
these cards are worth as many points as their value.
1. Shuffle the regional cards and deal 4 cards face down. These are the players starting cards.
2. Place the remaining regional cards face down in the center of the table. It's a deck of block cards. Place the gold symbols next to it. It is the bank.
3. Each player gets 2 gold from the bank.
4. The senior player gets the crown
The master of the crown follows the sequence of moves and calls the heroes in turn.
The owner of the crown shuffles the deck of cards of eight characters, takes some random cards from it
and places them in the middle of the table. How many cards to open depends on the number of players.
These cards do not participate in the current round.
The game is played in several stages. Each stage begins with character selection. players pass the deck of cards to each other
and each chooses one for themselves. Each character has a special ability.
for example, one steals gold, the other eliminates regions. After the selection step, the players' turn begins.
In turn, the player must collect resources. With collected resources, the player can attach 1 region to his city.
If one of the participants has built the seventh district in his city, the city is considered completed.
The current round is played to the end, and only then is the game over.
