Poker is a card game whose goal is to collect a winning combination or force all opponents to stop participating in the game. The game is played with fully or partially closed cards.
Specific rules may vary depending on the variety of poker.
The owner of the game bank will be the one who has the highest combination of cards in his hand. The poker rules provide for 10 possible combinations.
To understand how to play poker, you need to remember the seniority of these poker hands:
"Royal Straight Flush" - 5 highest suited cards.
"Straight Flus" - 5 cards of the same suit in order.
"Kare" - 4 cards of the same rank.
"Full House" - a combination that includes "Pair" and "Three" at the same time.
"Flush" - 5 cards of the same suit.
"Street flush" - 5 cards of any suit collected in order.
"Set" or "Three" - 3 cards of the same rank.
"Two Pairs" - 4 cards, among which 2 of the same rank are collected.
"Pair" is 2 identical cards.
The lowest combination "High Card" is 1 card. The higher she is in rank, the more likely she is to win.
The game can be played by 2 to 10 people. Each player in Texas Hold'em is dealt 2 cards.
After the distribution, the betting begins, which takes place over several rounds.
The two players to the left of the dealer make mandatory bets, which are charged before the start of bidding. This is done in order to encourage players to play actively.
These mandatory bets are called blinds. These are the rules of poker. The small blind is half the minimum bet placed by the player to the left of the dealer.
The big blind is the required minimum bet for the player to the left of the small blind.
The rules of the game of poker imply the presence of certain actions that the player performs in the process of trading:
Bet - place a bet
Call - bet the same amount as the opponent put - call
Raise - increase the bet - bet more than rivals
Fold - refuse to further participate in the game and discard cards
Check - in situations where the bet has already been made or bets have not been made by opponents - do not add anything to the pot, leave "as is"
The betting round ends when all players have made equal bets or folded.
How can I take the bank? There are 2 fundamentally different ways:
At the showdown, show a combination of cards that beats the poker combinations of opponents.
Make a bet that no one will call and everyone will fold their cards.
There are Limit, Pot-Limit and No-Limit poker.
In limit poker, stake limits are set, above which none of the players has the right to place a bet.
In pot-limit poker, no player can bet more than the total pot in the game.
No-Limit poker allows any player to play for the maximum allowed amount of money, which will not exceed his stack, i.e. amount in his possession. This is the most popular type of poker․
